Our Biblical Worldview...
"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit." - Ephesians 2:19-22This passage of scripture is the essence of who we are as a community. The apostle Paul writes to the church at Ephesus and he informs them that they are no longer strangers and aliens. You ARE FELLOW CITIZENS and MEMBERS of the household of God.
This is our first worldview. At CAC, you WILL FIND A PLACE OF BELONGING! Everyone is welcome at CAC.
Paul also enlightens them that they are "BUILT" on the foundation of the apostles and prophets. This is our doctrine. Here’s the catch, however, Jesus Christ Himself is the CORNERSTONE.
This is our second worldview. Jesus is the CORNERSTONE that His church is built upon. He is foundational. Once the cornerstone is set, it becomes the basis for determining every measurement in the remaining construction; everything is aligned to it.
In Him, that is Christ, WE ARE BEING BUILT together into a dwelling place for God. Unity of doctrine produces unity of vision. As we keep our foundation, the whole building of God’s people grow together in a beautiful way.
This is our third worldview. At CAC, WE GROW TOGETHER!
